See special moments from Todd and Ashley's wedding day at one of our favorite new venues, Firethorne Country Club. Photos from their June wedding ceremony and reception are courtesy of Greyson Steele Photography. Rolling hills on the beautifully landscaped grounds and mature hardwoods inside allowed guests to feel as if they had ventured to the mountains for the evening.
I am actually embarrassed to admit that I was one of those brides who, at the beginning of wedding planning, decided that the flower arrangements were not that important. Even so, my mother insisted we hire a florist for the weekend. We hired Jan with Ta-Da's and I can honestly say she was one of the smartest decisions we made in terms of hiring the right vendor. As wedding planning progressed, I decided that I wanted to incorporate bright and vivid colors in my late spring wedding. My bridesmaids dresses were a bright shade of pink and I have always loved the setting of a sunset. I walked down the isle right after 7 PM as the sun was setting, and the "pop" of all of the beautifully arranged pink, yellow, and orange flowers was breathtaking. I have never really noticed flowers too often at weddings previously, but at my wedding they made a magnificent statement. From the first time we spoke I knew she understood my vision and the direction I wanted to go. With minimal direction, Jan took over and made the setting of my wedding a fairy tale. I know that sounds cheesy and far-fetched, but the detail she put into each bouquet, centerpiece, boutonnière was stunning. Jan was also there up to show time to make sure everything was just as it needed to be. If I had to do this day all over again I would use Jan again in a heart beat. I highly recommend her services, and if you want your event to be as beautiful as ever- make sure you call Ta-Da's!!
